Memorial Day Weekend in Belmar
By Dad on Jun 3, 2008
The Lyons-Andrews clan made another trek to Belmar for some Memorial Day fun joined by Grandma Nan, Grandpa Jack, Aunt Heather and Winslow. It was great to see our favorite Texans, Kath and Dave, who were in town to open many many wedding shower gifts. Kath loves attention, so this was especially fun for her.
In addition to more house painting, I had a swell time hanging with all the men on our porch Saturday afternoon drinking a wide selection of yummy beers and downing some delicious Mike’s Subs.
Juliette made it down to the beach twice and had a ball while Oona hung at home with me. Thanks as always to Mary and Frank for letting us eat their food and drink their beer all weekend long and kicking off the summer with another wonderful porch party.

Oona awakes in the pack-n-play.

Juliette loves the super cool t-shirt Cousin Di gave her!

The Yellow House is a bit less “yellow” after a little paint job.

Aunt Betty gives and gets great hugs!

Enjoying some floor fun after a lovely dinner at Aunt Betty’s.

John, Emily and Jim refuses to leave Frank’s porch despite repeated requests.

Sleepy!

Julie, Grandma Nan and Grandpa Jack hit the sand!

Julie and Emily dance. John is distracted by a passing guido.

The lovely ladies of 10th Ave. enjoy a windy morning in Belmar.

Emily tells Oona to take a hike and hops in her chair.

A moment later, Franks has better idea and puts his granddaughter in the basket.

Dave realizes its time to get back to Texas and sweat… a lot.

Emily’s posse.

Kath and Dave are welcomed into Emily’s posse with much glee!

Chilling!

Oona is stylin’ in the hoodie Cousin Bridget gave her.

Aunt Heather and Oona have 36 matching outfits. Here’s one in pink.

Bye now!
