June, Glorious June!
By Dad on Jul 3, 2008
My two beautiful girls are growing so fast, and the summer is going faster. Juliette is gaining on 3 1/2 and learning to ride a scooter and kick in the pool. Oona is three months old and already the mini-mistress of the smile, the coo, and the kick. Now she’s finally gaining good head control — my little baby-chick bobble head. She’s a joy like her sister.

Here are Jeff and Juliette getting ready for their Friday daddy/daughter breakfast — a tradition we revived from her baby days when Jeff watched her all day Fridays.

A pensive moment in the Belmar pack-n-play…

Jeff and Julie enjoyed the flattering soft light of the Brielle River House for Helena Vermuelen’s christening party.

It was a great party, even if Helena missed most of it.

Rocco is an extreme baby.

Heather and Rocco came over on the hottest day of the year when our air conditioner was broken. Sorry, guys, but the dewy glow is very becoming.

Rocco and Oona practiced a kick routine. Legs straight…

… now bend. Good ab workout!

Sneak peek of Darryl, Luke, and Anne’s 2008 Christmas card photo!

If you think Mike and Audrey look good here, you should see them in fedoras. Congratulations to the happy couple! Little Mike is growing up.

Jeff and Juliette in our Belmar kitchen — OK, it’s actually Kaya’s Kitchen.

Oona’s happy, and she didn’t even get soy nuggets!

Nothing is better on a rainy day at the shore than the aquarium at Jenkinson’s in Point Pleasant.

Something’s fishy

Notice how I’m taunting the fish by showing off my blinking ability. They only WISH they had eyelids!

Juliette wasn’t so into the funny seal photo…

… without a little help from Mommy.

Check out the walking! Just in time for the party, and not a week earlier

More Bubbles!

The caterpillar wasn’t the only one who was very hungry.

Happy birthday, Emily!

Best buddies.

Oona and Helena get down.

Oona was a little much for sweet Helena.

Kerrin gets her baby fix, times two – the way she likes it!

Owen, Juliette, Holly, and Julia enjoy dinner.

Yum

I’ve heard stories of a sea creature with the body of a poorly painted seal and two, lovely, maiden heads. I believe the beast entrances sailors in the night with it’s enchanting melodies.
