Completed the Philly Marathon this morning. Had a good run (3:35:22), beautiful day for a race. Great tour of our lovely city too. Go Philly! Post-race adventure: After the race, Oona and Kelly drove home in her car, Juliette decided to come with me. We were going to get bagels on the way home. When we got to the car, battery was dead. (It was dark when I parked at 5:30am, left my lights on. I’m an idiot).

October 20th is my mom’s birthday, and like most days, I will think about her a lot. Patty was a wonderfully loving mom, sister, friend and grandma. Puppets, pajamas, and paper
The whole clan is feeling better now, especially Oona, who is on antibiotics with her first (double!) ear infection. She has also had teeth five, six, and seven break through, with eight soon to arrive! Julie’s preschool was canceled because of a “snowstorm” that turned quickly to slush, so we decided to [...]

At the Please Touch Museum
The Lyons-Andrewses have been beset with a host of bugs and germs for the past two weeks, but the girls are emerging, none the worse for wear (although hoarse little Oona sounds like Susan Pleshette). Oona has reverted to her infant eating and sleeping habits (worse, she has reverted to JULIETTE’s eating [...]

Sweet Oona
Today was little Oona’s belated 9-month visit. Oona’s vital stats: 46th percentile weight, 70th percentile length, and 98th percentile head size. That’s right — she pretty much has the proportions of a big-headed cartoon baby. The only surprise there was her relatively light weight (considering that she’s all head!). She doesn’t look like misses [...]
